BASH Digital League

It’s hard to believe that there are a few weeks left in the regular Spring 2012 Season. As the season draws to a close teams are going to want to increase their point totals to get into the tournament while making sure not to hear their players for the all important cup matches. This week on the Schedule we have the Dismal Swampers against the Sons of Ragnarok. That epic action will be followed up by The Maine-iacs against the Plagueborn. Good luck!

Hello and welcome to all you Blood Bowl fans out there! Today marks the beginning of the 7th round of BASH League play. This week we have two match-ups for your carnage-filled pleasure. First up The Sons of Ragnarok vs. The Plagueborn, followed by The Maine-iacs vs. The High Flyers. Good luck to everyone out on the pitch this week.

With the first half the season over the stations for the league are really beginning to shape up. Coming in first place with a commanding lead of 12 points is the Dismal Swampers. They’re followed by the Maine-iacs at 6 points, and the High Flyers, The Sons of Ragnarok, and the Plagueborn all trailing at 3 points a piece. How will the teams adjust their strategies as they face their rivals for a second time? The first match up this week is the Plagueborn vs. The High Flyers, followed by the Dismal Swampers vs. The Maine-iacs. Good luck out on the pitch!

The fifth week is here and that means we’re on the last week of the first half of the season. This week we have two epic face-offs between four great teams. First off it’s the High Flyers vs. the Sons of Ragnarok. Both teams took a loss their last time out and you know they’ll be looking to put the hurt on because of it. That match will be followed up by the Dismal Swampers and the Plagueborn as they take to the pitch. Good luck to everyone this week!

With the first few rounds of the season done things are really hotting up. The Dismal Swampers have pulled ahead of the pack with 6 points, while the Plagueborn are in dead last with 0 points scored. This week as usual has two matches scheduled. The first will be full of plenty of norse on norse action with The Maine-iacs vs The Sons of Ragnarok. The next match up will be a match of speed vs. speed when the Dismal Swampers take on the High Flyers. Good luck to everyone out on the pitch this week.

Another week means it’s time for yet another match-up on the pitches of the Old World. This week we have two matches scheduled to take place. The first pits the Sons of Ragnarok against the Dismal Swampers in what promises an interesting take on the battle between man and mouse. The second match is yet another Norse afair as the Maine-iacs take on the Plagueborn and their Nurgle rot. Good luck to everyone out there this week!

Well the first week is over and the pitches of the Old World have finally gotten their first tastes of blood this season. The next match scheduled in this season is The Plagueborn vs. The Sons of Ragnarok, followed up by The High-Flyers vs. The Maine-iacs later this week. Good luck to everyone out on the pitch!

The time has finally come for the 2012 Spring BASH Season to begin. All the teams are gearing up and raring to set out once again onto the pitches of the Old World. This season pits four veteran teams and one new comer against each other in the quest for glory in the name of Nuffle. For our first round of gameplay we have two matches. Fist off the new High Elf team the High Flyers will take to the pitch against the undead monstrosities of the Plagueborn. Later on last year’s champions the Maine-iacs will face previous champions the Dismal Swampers. Good luck to everyone this season!

The Maine-iacs Mascot, The Vahking Lobstah

The BASH Cup has finally concluded, ending the Fall 2011 season. Four brave teams competed in this tournament of epic proportions. The first match of the tournament pitted Das Best Beerfest against the Dismal Swampers. In an upset victory the Das Best Beerfest knocked last year’s champions out of the tournament. The second match pitted the two Norse rivals the Maine-iacs against The Sons of Ragnarok. After a long and bloody match The Maine-iacs claimed victory.

The final match of the tournament has Das Best Beerfest against The Maine-iacs, a team which had been forced to forfeit to Das Best Beerfest in their last game against each other. Once again proving just how fickle a god Nuffle is Das Best Beerfest threw in the towel themselves after suffering six casualties at the hands of the Maine-iacs while only managing to inflict one themselves. After this match Pahster of the Maine-iacs has gone off to join the marines. He’s expected to come back in the spring with the rank of private and the ability to dodge. Bolstered by their victory the Maine-iacs have also gotten an reroll without paying the cost for it.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and so we must say goodbye to BASH for the time being. But don’t get too complacent, BASH will back in March for the 2011 Spring Season. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone out on the pitch again next season, and thank you to all the coaches in the league who made for another amazing season!

The 2011 Spring BASH Cup is over. Former champions Peanut Butter Jelly Time faced off against the rookie Dismal Swampers team and were soundly beaten in a a 3-1 scoring game. The Dismal Swampers take home the 2011 Spring BASH Cup, and the Dismal Swamper’s Rat Ogre, Breaktak has joined the navy for the off season. Surely he’ll come back with some new impressive skills for the next season of this epic contest. Congratulations Dismal Swampers!
