Create a LAN Game

Creating, or hosting, a LAN game is simple and easy to do. The hardest part of using this method is configuring the computers in question to be on a LAN network in the first place. If you’ve done this then actually hosting the game will be easy. Launch the game and click on the “Multiplayer” option. From there click on the “Local Area Network” option. This will pull up the LAN Game Screen. On this screen you can set your name by changing the text in the box

that says “Player Name” in the screen shot on the right. From here click on the “Host a Game” option in the lower right hand corner, then click the “Classic” game type. This will bring you to the LAN Game setup screen. On this screen you can give your game a name that will appear in the LAN game browser. You can also select the stadium you will play on. Click the “Create Game” button. You now need to tell your opponent that you have created a game and they need to connect to you. Once they have done this you will see a message stating they have connected in the chat box in the lower right hand corner. Once they have joined each of you will need to pick your teams from the drop down boxes and they you just click “Launch Game” to start your Blood Bowl Match.

To join a Direct IP Game you need to launch the blood bowl game and click on the “Multiplayer” and “Local Area Network” the same as if you were creating the game. You can set your in game name at the top of this screen. Once your opponent has created the game simply look for the game on the game browser that takes up most of this screen. If you do not see their game displayed then click the refresh button. When you do see their game listed click on it and then click the “Join Game” button.  Select your team from the drop down, wait for the host to launch the game, and then get ready for an exciting game of Blood Bowl!
